1. Name-search :
   
   You are searching for company-names. You can enter every letter combination. Input like ay will lead to all results containing ay, such as Mayer, Cayne or Ayers. The more letters your input has, the more exact the result will be.

   

2. Product-search :
   
   You are searching for products from the precious stones branche. You might search for stone names, such as Ruby or Sapphire, or Keywords like insurance and design. You can enter every letter combination. Input like ame will lead to all results containing ame, such as Amethyst or Ametrine. The more letters your input has, the more exact the result will be.

   

3. Search for specialized companies:
   
   You are searching for products from the precious stones branche. You might search for stone names, such as Ruby or Sapphire, or Keywords like insurance and design. You can enter every letter combination. Input like ame will lead to all results containing ame, such as Amethyst or Ametrine. The more letters your input has, the more exact the result will be. The results are companies that are specialized on these products. They might also work with other products, but not as specialists.

   

4. Postcode and country-search:
   
   You are searching for companies from the same country and the same postcode. The country field is required, the post code is optional. Inputs from 1 to x digits are possible. The code is read from left to right. The more digits you put in, the more exact the results will be.

   

5. Category-search :
   
   The result will be all companies of the directory with that entry. The entries are not excluding each other. A company listet as a producer may also be a wholesale.

   

6. New entry:
   
   This form puts your company data into the GEMSCOUT.com database. Please fill out the textfields carefully. The marked textfields are required. Products that you are specialized on go into the first textarea. You might also put Keywords, such as Jewelry, Goldsmith, Diamondcutter here. Other products that you are working with go to the second textarea. After submitting, your entry goes into a temporary database. Then we will translate it into german and put all data into the GEMSCOUT.com database. Obvious mistakes will be corrected by our team.

   

7. Change entry:
   
   Use this form to chang your company entry. You may also add additional keywords, or a new webaddress or e-mail account. To be able to change your entry a password is required. Order your password by entering your e-mail addresse into the password-orderform. Your password will be sent to your e-mail addresse immediately. If you would like to change your password for an individual password enter your old password and your new password to hte form. Add your e-mail adresse and submit. Your new password will be entered into our database. Your changes will be saved in a temporary database. Please allow up to 12 hours until the main database is updated.

   

8. Forum :
   
   The forum is a message board. You might post notes, offers or messages here that can be found, read and answered by other visitors.

10. Free mail:

To get in contact with any of the companies just click the letter-icon to send an web based e-mail (without your e-mail program) or click the http://address to see the website of the company.
